Command: hcp vault-secrets secrets open
The hcp vault-secrets secrets open
command reads the plaintext value of a
static, rotating, or dynamic secret from the Vault Secrets application.
Usage
$ hcp vault-secrets secrets open NAME [Optional Flags]
Examples
Open plaintext secret:
$ hcp vault-secrets secret open "test_secret"
Positional arguments
NAME
- The name of the secret to open.
Flags
-o, --out-file=OUTPUT_FILE_PATH
- File path where the secret value should be written.
Inherited Flags
--app=NAME
- The name of the Vault Secrets application. If not specified, the value from the active profile will be used.
